Fiber optic splice sleeve Ø2.5 mm, length 45 mm

Fiber optic splice sleeve (45 / 2.5 mm) are parts for the protection of fiber optic splices. They are flexible, heat-shrinkable elements that reduce their volume under the influence of heat. They are equipped with stainless steel rods, which provide additional mechanical protection of the weld. After the shrinkage has shrunk, the fibers are not only exposed to mechanical damage, but also protect against moisture and all types of contamination.

 

- Sheath length: 45 mm

- Diameter of the casing opening: 1.3 mm +/- 0.1 mm

- Outer diameter of the sheath after shrinking: 2.5 mm +/- 0.3 mm

- Diameter of the reinforcing rod: 1.2 mm

- Minimum shrinking temperature: 90 [° C]

- Shrink time: about 2 minutes (at temp. 110 [° C])
